Owned and run by Jamie Trevaskis and Mia Goodwin of The Troubadour fame, entering Junk Bar is like stepping back in time. Wedged between a Chinese takeaway and a fast photo shop, inside you’ll find a thriving eclectic hub where comfy couches, stools and lamps mix with stag’s heads and velvet loveseats. The drinks menu might not be extensive but quality makes up for quantity. Be sure to try the ‘Junk Bar Cherry’ featuring a mix of fresh muddled cherries with Chambord, vanilla Galliano and cream. If you’re feeling peckish, there’s a delectable snack menu featuring goodies from the aforementioned Chinese place and neighbouring fish ‘n’ chip shop. Now that’s the makings of a good night!
